Cleaner with The Optimist

We are now looking for an energetic Cleaner to join The Optimist, our iconic, Barcelona-inspired Northern Spanish grill on Hennessy Road.

You will be responsible for setting up the cleaning station and dishwashing machine. You will be following health and safety regulations and ensuring a clean and safe environment for the guests.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the kitchen team with cleaning and dishwashing duties

• Sanitise and maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing machine

• Unload dishes and utensils from the dishwashing machine and organize them properly

• Empty trash containers regularly

• Maintain a clean working environment by sweeping and mopping when needed

• Ensure the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations 

Requirements

• Able to handle a physically demanding role

• Positive attitude with a teamwork mindset 

• Sense of responsibility in your role

• Fluency in English is a must, other languages are advantageous
